The EUSA European Universities Winter Championships, are in the second day of competition today. While alpine skiing was on hold, it was the turn of snowboarding with the parallel discipline for both men and women.

The race course was once again situated on the Cristelin Alta track in the Val di Zoldo Ski Area, where the parallel tracks were set up. The competition followed the format of a preliminary round followed by direct elimination challenges (quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals). The three Bulgarian athletes, Tervel Zamfirov (University of Forestry), Kristian Georgiev (National Sports Academy Vasil Levski), and Alexander Krashniak (Technical University Sofia), proved to be on another level compared to their opponents, occupying the entire podium in the same order.

Among the women, Isabel Chiara Murer from Agordo (University of Udine) topped the preliminary phase, defeating Polish competitors Marta Olczak and Julia Oleksiuk (both from the University of Warsaw) in the quarterfinals and semifinals. However, she succumbed to German competitor Natalie Schoemann (University of Bamberg) in the final and had to "settle" for the silver. Bronze for Irem Gezer of Istanbul Medipol University, Turkiye.

Snow volleyball tournament matches continue, with the conclusion of the eliminations. In the women's category, both Cà Foscari Venice, who will face the University of Vienna in the semifinals, and the University of Milano Bicocca, who will meet the Romanians from the Bucharest University of Economy, have secured a spot.

In the men's category, the University of Milan's team earns a challenging semifinal against the favored Austrians from the University of Klagenfurt. The other semifinal features UCT Prague and the University of Darmstadt. IUAV of Venice is out of the medal races.
